The Portland Trail Blazers currently own a 10-20 record. It’s not the worst in the NBA by a long shot. The Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans each boast 5 wins over the first 30-ish games of the season. Yikes. But Portland still owns the sixth-worst record, well short of the median league victory total of 15, let alone the 20+ defining elite teams.
Seemingly stuck in this uncomfortable situation, the Blazers are coming under their fair share of criticism. How fair is it, though? That’s the subject of today’s Blazer’s Edge Mailbag.
Hi Dave,
There’s a lot of fans who started the season with high hopes and sunny expectations.
