With the news last week that the Trail Blazers have worked out a Moda Center bridge agreement with the City of Portland, it gives us a moment to pause and ponder the team’s near future. While the deal doesn’t guarantee long-term stability, it does give us a little room to focus elsewhere. So happily, for now we can ask the question “Where will the Blazers be in five years?” without any sarcastic and snarky geographic answers.
After ten years of trying to build a contender around Damian Lillard, the Blazers are now in full rebuild mode.
