The Portland Trail Blazers didn’t have much of a chance against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night, falling 114-94 for their 19th loss of the season in 27 tries. The Blazers couldn’t defend 7’2 Victor Wembanyama, but Wemby had no such problem. He became a one-man natural disaster, blowing his way through every defender and driver the Blazers threw at him. While Wembanyama held the Blazers down, San Antonio’s wings beat them up, scoring in the paint at will. The result was a semi-sad blowout with few redeeming qualities.
Shaedon Sharpe
Shaedon Sharpe shot 11-16 from the field, 3-6 from the arc for 25 points in one of his more aggressive efforts of the year.
