LAS VEGAS -- The Portland Trail Blazers had to beat the Utah Jazz twice in order to earn their first victory of summer league. After missing a chance to win in the first overtime, Pat Connaughton delivered in sudden death.
The Blazers held a four point lead with under five seconds remaining in overtime, but Luis Montero fouled Utah's Spencer Butterfield, sending the Jazz guard to the line with 1.2 seconds left.
Butterfield hit the first two free throws and then intentionally missed the last one, allowing Jazz forward Trey Lyles to tip in the rebound and force a second overtime.
