Playing in the world's largest media market, it's hard not to have seen a highlight or two this season of Knicks rookie standout Kristaps Porzingis. The 7-3 forward-center is the team's second leading scorer behind Carmelo Anthony, and is an early favorite for Rookie of the Year along with Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns.
Trail Blazers forward Noah Vonleh was well aware of that entering Saturday's matchup with New York and rose to the challenge, shutting-out the Latvian big man in a 112-110 loss to the Knicks at Moda Center.
"I’ve been watching some of the games; [Porzingis] has been doing some great things out there," Vonleh said post-game.
