Prior to practice on Sunday, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers spoke with the press about the separated rib he suffered in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, according to video from NBC Sports Northwest. He sustained the injury after Kevon Looney of the Golden State Warriors fell on him. He told the press that there is little he can do about it, save playing through the pain.
Lillard noted that it is harder for him to breathe when he gets winded. He played Game 3 with padding.
