The NBA’s re-tooled offseason is set for a busy October. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the 2020 NBA Draft will occur in the middle of the month and the league-wide free agency period is scheduled to unfold shortly after the lights of draft night dim.
Wojnarowski revealed that the NBA Draft is set for October 16 and free agency negotiations will start on October 18 with a moratorium that runs through October 23. Outside of those two dates, the early-withdrawal for underclassmen in the 2020 draft class is set on October 6.
