The Portland Trail Blazers have traded the 34th and 40th picks for future second round picks and cash during the second day of the NBA draft.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Blazers sent the 34th pick to the New York Knicks who selected Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek.
Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, in return, the Blazers received a 2027 Minnesota Timberwolves second, a 2030 New York Knicks second and the least favorable second from the Indiana Pacers or Washington Wizards.
The Blazes then sent the 40th pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder before it ended up with the Phoenix Suns who selected Iso Ighodaro, also out of Marquette.
