Today the 2024 SBNation Mock Draft—a network-wide enterprise in which NBA writers and analysts simulate the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft—was published. Each team site sends an expert to the drafting process, resulting in 30 picks, roughly in the order the writers would forecast were they in the decision-maker’s seat.
You can find the entire Mock Draft here. For those who want to cut to the chase, though, we have Portland’s selections, made by Blazer’s Edge draft guru Steve Dewald. Steve has a history of being pretty good with his selections personally, and has hit on Portland’s actual pick more than once, so it’s always a fun exercise to see him work.
