The Trail Blazers have taken the league by storm since the break. The winning play started before the Toronto weekend, but now Portland is in the national spotlight. This has led to them being ranked number seven in the most recent Bleacher Report NBA Power Rankings.
Winning eight of their last ten isn’t the only thing impressive about their run of play. Damian Lillard has gone off and is starting to make his doubters look real foolish. Portland fans have already recognized his MVP like efforts and now he is receiving some buzz for the award from around the league (granted it is mostly kudos to his recent play).
