The Portland Trail Blazers discussed the possibility of acquiring DeMarcus Cousins through a sign-and-trade, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN. However, Cousins sharing the same agent with Jusuf Nurkic created a “road block” in talks that never came to fruition:
