The Portland Trail Blazers used a team effort to take down the New York Knicks tonight by the score of 111-101. Jusuf Nurkic led the way for Portland with 20 points in just 19 minutes, but it was Portland’s depth that made the difference. In one of the most complete wins of the year, the Blazers finished with nine players scoring seven points or more. Damian Lillard chipped in 17 and 9 assists while Jake Layman finished with his first career double-double.
The First Half
The Knicks are not a very good team but watching the first half, it was hard to differentiate which team was in a battle for a playoff spot and which team was going to be lucky to win 25 games this year.
