The biggest news coming out of Rip City these days: Which names show up on the injury report.
Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum won't play in the team's regular season finale Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks, but the team announced Tuesday that his injured right knee won't put his season in jeopardy.
The Blazers announced the results of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) tests revealed a "contusion" in Batum's right knee. The team ruled him out for Wednesday's game, but the fact that tests did not show ligament or tendon damage means Batum will likely be available for the playoffs, which begin this weekend.
