The Trail Blazers will have several interesting contests in training camp before the start of the season, but a surprising competition at the bottom of the roster is beginning to take shape. Portland reached camp agreements with Tim Quarterman and Grant Jerrett in the last month, which brings the roster size to seventeen guys. With fourteen players already guaranteed money on the roster, it leaves the battle for the fifteenth spot a three man race.
The player that appears to be the most at risk from last year’s roster is Luis Montero.
