Trail Blazers honor 1977 title team with retro attire

The Portland Trail Blazers are using Wednesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers as an opportunity to honor the franchise's lone title team.

Forty years ago, a Bill Walton-led Trail Blazers team stormed back from a 2-0 series deficit to take down the Philadelphia 76ers in six games. Walton was among a number of former players to attend the reunion at the Moda Center.

Jack Ramsay, Portland's head coach at the time, died in April 2014, but current head coach Terry Stotts and mascot Blaze still honored the former coach's patented sideline fashion by wearing plaid blazers.
