Founding executive Harry Glickman will receive the John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award from the NBA Hall of Fame. Glickman managed the Blazers from their inception in 1970 and was instrumental in bringing NBA basketball to Portland. He supervised the team until his retirement in 1987, presiding over the franchise’s lone championship in 1977 behind stars Bill Walton and Maurice Lucas. The award will be presented in September.
