Portland broke their streak of blowing late leads tonight against New Orleans. Damian Lillard scored seven straight points late in the fourth to help keep Anthony Davis and the Pelicans at arms length. This victory will go a long way to help calm the nerves of the home crowd, who have had to witness a handful of second half leads evaporate. (complete box score here)
Lillard led all players with 30 points, but was helped by four other Trail Blazers who also reached double digits. Mason Plumlee had a dominate night on the glass against the talented Davis.
