The Trail Blazers can add another item to their list of accomplishments in an already surprising season: Playoff team.
With a 120-115 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Saturday night at the Moda Center, the Blazers clinched a postseason berth, a feat that seemed like a longshot prior to the season.
"It's a great day to be a Blazer," said coach Terry Stotts, echoing the famous call from Blazers' radio voice Brian Wheeler, before adding. "I'm very excited to make the playoffs."
The Blazers are the first team in NBA history to make the playoffs when returning two or fewer players who logged at least 1,000 minutes with the team in the previous season.
