The Blazers took a loss in their first preseason game, dropping a contest against the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver, B.C., 122-104. Despite the loss, Portland got a good look at their players, as all 17 active players saw the floor for at least seven minutes, and all players scored in the contest. Meyers Leonard was a surprise leader in points scored with 14, and Caleb Swanigan led the team with eight rebounds. Three players, Wade Baldwin VI, Evan Turner, and Gary Trent, Jr., tallied three assists a piece in a balanced passing offense. Portland looked great last Saturday, but gave up an astonishing 51 free throw attempts, ultimately leading to their demise.
