Meyers Leonard may be set to return to action for the Portland Trail Blazers following an ankle injury, but his problems won’t be resolved there. Chronic ailments, a crowded roster, and a “two-steps-forward” learning curve have conspired to keep Leonard’s achievements modest compared to expectations when Portland nabbed him alongside Damian Lillard in the 2012 NBA Draft.
