The 2024-25 Portland Trail Blazers field a young, exciting roster. With 95% of their players below the age of 27, they have plenty of room to grow into the long, hopefully bright, future ahead of them. If that’s also code speak for, “They ain’t gonna win much this year,” well, that’s part of the NBA process too.
The Blazers find themselves in the middle of an experimental season. They’re past the point of just trying to find warm bodies to play. Their starting lineup is credible and several of their bench players have shown promise. But they’re still Rubik’s Cubing their way through different combinations, trying to settle on rotations and systems that make sense.
