The Portland Trail Blazers have moved into a new phase after last season, and it is one that revolves around rebuilding with young assets. Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Meyers Leonard are now the cornerstones of this franchise. As they lead a group of similar-aged players, it leaves a player on the outside looking in regarding their fit. He certainly has a role and corresponds in some respect, but the possibility remains he might be traded to accommodate the team’s progress, his own personal goals or a combination of both.
