Almost six years after his passing, Blazer fans still await the long-term ownership fate of his Portland Trail Blazers (along with his other sports passion, the Seattle Seahawks). Whether due to oversight or intent, the teams sit in limbo, owned by Allen’s organization (now run by his sister Jody), reportedly awaiting sale so that the proceeds can go to charity. Which could take a decade or more.
