The Trail Blazers soared to a 118-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night, thanks to two huge factors: CJ McCollum’s scoring outburst and the lack of explosion from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Head coach Terry Stotts joined the Jim Rome Show today to talk about those two keys.
Of McCollum’s 40-point night and his violent crossover specifically, Stotts said:
I do know that he had a confidence about going at him (Donte DiVincenzo) one on one. He had a good game going, and then the fact that there was a rookie on him, I think he probably did take it personal.
