The Trail Blazers exited the postseason on Thursday following a disappointing 126-115 loss to the Nuggets in Game 6 of the opening round of the NBA Playoffs. Another early exit from the postseason could lead to significant changes in Portland in the offseason ahead. With that in mind, coach Terry Stotts commented on the speculation surrounding his job security in his postgame media availability.
The Athletic’s Jason Quick highlighted Stotts’ remarks following Thursday’s result.
“My job security? I’m under contract … I’m sure just like at the end of every year, we are all evaluated,” Stotts said.
