Prior to the Golden State Warriors’ dismantling of the Trail Blazers on opening night, head coach Steve Kerr talked to the media about hiring former Portland head coach Terry Stotts. Stotts joined the team as the lead assistant over the summer, and has been tasked with adjusting their offense for their new personnel, featuring the departure of Klay Thompson and arrival of Buddy Hield.
Kerr met with the media prior to Wednesday’s game. Blazer’s Edge’s Conor Bergin asked Kerr about his history of coaching against his new assistant coach.
I think we met in the playoffs three or four times.
