By now, you've probably heard of Nike's new FLYEASE innovation, a shoe designed to "help athletes of all abilities and ages perform better." The FLYEASE design is geared toward helping athletes get in and out of basketball shoes a little easier compared to the traditional method of tying shoelaces. Partnering with Nike, Special Olympics Oregon has donated a number of shoes to athletes participating in this weekend's Rip City 3-on-3 basketball tournament on the Rose Quarter campus.
