It’s been a rough April for the Portland Trail Blazers. Since the start of the month they’ve won just three games -- they’ve lost 10, including their last five -- and have gone from being just a half game out of fourth in the Western Conference standings to being just game away from falling to ninth. In short, it has not the late-season rally we’ve become accustomed to seeing from the Trail Blazers in recent seasons.
So considering that they’ve got a better record on the road than they do at home this season, perhaps an extended road trip is what they need in order to spark a playoff push.
