The Portland Trail Blazers face a number of questions this offseason as they continue to collect and manage talent via the NBA Draft, free agency and trades.
While not necessarily front of mind for everyone, some of those decisions will involve the futures of several incumbent Blazers, two of whom become extension eligible in July.
Extensions can be tricky as both the franchise and player aren’t always on the same page in relation to the amount of money, and years on offer.
Typically, the impetus for the front office to get the deal done revolves around keeping said player on the most team-friendly deal possible.
