The 76ers appear to nearing the end of their brief partnership with former No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz. According to Philly Inquirer’s Keith Pompey, Philadelphia is entertaining the idea of moving its struggling guard.
Pompey also explains that the asking price for Fultz might be low, which could make him an interesting buy-low candidate for the right team. President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey has a history of pursuing reclamation projects, so if the price is right, the Trail Blazers could be an intriguing trade partner.
Fultz’s rapid decline from clear-cut top prospect to being borderline unplayable is one of the most puzzling stories in recent memory.
