Jabari Walker returns for his third season with the Portland Trail Blazers, 12 months out from restricted free agency. Despite playing the highest number of games for the Blazers in 2023-24, he enters the early part of the campaign likely making friends with the bench.
Through 72 games last season, Walker averaged 23.6 minutes, 8.9 points on 29.5 percent from three and 46 percent from the field, 7.1 boards, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks.
Among NBA bigs, Walker ranked in the 81st percentile in defensive rebounds, grabbing 21.6 percent of opponent misses.
Rebounding is clearly the former Colorado star’s strength.
