For the third consecutive game, Scoot Henderson was the Portland Trail Blazers’ best player at home Saturday against the Houston Rockets.
The night still ended in a 125-103 Blazers’ loss, Portland’s fifth straight, but once again the second-year guard provided a silver lining with energetic and efficient play. In 31 minutes, Henderson produced a team-high 21 points, 11 assists, five rebounds, three blocks and a steal while shooting 6-11 from the field, 3-5 on 3s and 6-6 from the free throw line.
“His intention all night was to attack and be ferocious. He was,” Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups said.
