After a close loss to the New Orleans Pelicans Friday, the Portland Trail Blazers faced reporters to debrief (and potentially decompress).
Blazers Coach Chauncey Billups said he thought the Blazers play well despite the loss:
I thought we played good. Obviously you wish we could come away with the win, but definitely this is more who we are.
Jerami Grant (who led the Blazers with 34 points) used part of his time behind the mic to praise second-year guard Scoot Henderson:
He’s just getting better. I think the more games he gets, the better he’ll be.
