According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, free-agent guard C.J. Wilcox will sign a two-way contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Two-way contracts are new this season after being included in the 2017 collective bargaining agreement between the NBA owners and the players. A player signed to a two-way contract can be with an NBA team for up to 45 days during the season and doesn't count toward the salary cap, or luxury tax, which makes the Wilcox signing a good deal for the Blazers. Portland is currently over the tax line by $2.
