The Trail Blazers have reached a two-year deal to retain free agent wing Rodney Hood. According to ESPN’s Adrain Wojnarowski, the two sides agreed on a two-year deal that includes a player option.

The Athletic’s Jason Quick provided clarification on the contract immediately after the story broke. According to Quick, the first year will exhaust the Blazers’ taxpayer mid-level exception.
