The Houston Rockets are sending Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Russell Westbrook, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Houston will send a bevy of picks and pick swaps to complete the deal, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania: 2024 first-round pick (1-4 protected), 2026 first-round pick (1-4 protected), 2025 pick swap (1-20 protected), 2021 pick swap (1-4 protected).
As Wojnarowski points out, the Thunder have accumulated up to eight first-round picks since NBA Draft night. The team recently sent Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers in a trade that sent shockwaves through the league.
