Let’s look something a little lighter before Summer League begins.
Portland Trail Blazers big man Robert Williams III made his annual visit to his basketball camp, which takes place in Shreveport, Louisiana, near his hometown. Williams, who went to North Caddo High School in nearby Vivian, partners with the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department to put on the camp for kids from kindergarten to eighth grade. Jimmy Watson at the Shreveport Times gave a glimpse into a day in the camp and talked to some of the organizers.
“We had a good time again because the kids were excited to see Robert,” Caddo Parks Sports Director Patrick Wesley said.
