Last June, the Portland Trail Blazers went into the NBA draft owning picks 7, 14, 34, and 40 — four opportunities to strike gold. But did they? Now that we’re well into the NBA season and have had a chance to take a long look at this year’s rookie crop, where does Portland stand?
For comparison’s sake, I’ll use The Ringer’s original draft day grades, which you can check out by clicking here.
In addition, I’ll only look at the first round selections. Often players chosen in the second round are projects and take longer to develop, thus making it more difficult to fairly judge them this early in their young careers.
