Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has been named NBA Sixth Man of the Year for the 2024-25 season. Appearing in 80 games, the point guard averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game. He helped the Celtics win 61 games, first place in the Atlantic Division, second in the Eastern Conference, third across the league in overall wins.
NBA Communications also tweeted that Pritchard set a single-season record with 246 three-pointers made off the bench. Pritchard shot 40.7% from the three-point arc, 47.2% overall.
