Prior to Adding Nance Jr., Blazers Expressed Interest in Brooks.

The Trail Blazers were active in trade talks last week, a pursuit that ended with the acquisition of Larry Nance Jr. in a three-team deal. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Blazers also inquired about Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks in the lead up to the trade that landed Nance Jr.

On Monday, Charania revealed that the Blazers expressed interest in the former Ducks standout.

Before acquiring Nance, the Trail Blazers also had an interest in Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks, sources said.

Last season, Brooks was featured as a starter in 67 regular season games.
