The Portland Trail Blazers (1-0) welcome the Phoenix Suns (1-1) to the Pacific Northwest for the second of seven preseason games ahead of the 2016-17 NBA campaign. The Blazers defeated the Utah Jazz Monday evening, 98-89, behind 16 points from star point guard Damian Lillard. Swingman Allen Crabbe added 15 points off the bench, while guards CJ McCollum and Shabazz Napier chipped in 11 points each.
The Suns visit Portland on the heels of a 104-99 loss at home to the Jazz on Wednesday night. Point guard Brandon Knight led Phoenix with 17 points as a reserve, as forward TJ Warren led starters with 15 points in the defeat.
