The Portland Trail Blazers took advantage of an unroyal number of Sacramento Kings turnovers en route to their first preseason win against an NBA team since 2020, topping the Kings on the road, 105-85.
The Blazers were led by Scoot Henderson who had 17 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals (plus just a single turnover!), 13 from Toumani Camara, 12 points and six rebounds from Dalano Banton, and 11 apiece from Deandre Ayton and Jabari Walker. Rookie Donovan Clingan registered a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.
Quarter-by-Quarter:
After trailing early due to atrocious transition defense, the Blazers came back to take a slight lead after a series of Kings turnovers.
