Powell Leaves Blazers-Suns Game with Knee Injury

Portland Trail Blazers wing Norman Powell left the second quarter of tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns after suffering a left knee injury.

The starting wing left the court and headed straight to the locker room with 5.43 left in the second quarter against the Suns.

The dynamic wing was enjoying a strong start to the contest, recording 16 points on 6 of 8 shots, including two three pointers, along with two rebounds. He recorded 14 points on 33 percent shooting and five rebounds in the team’s opening night loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
