You know those weird stats you see on ESPN all the time that make you go, “Who in the world came up with that…”? Well, we have one for you here but this one is cool (and meaningful).
Though he struggled overall, Damian Lillard hit his 600th career three pointer last night against the Suns in his 247th career game, making him the fastest player in history to that mark. Klay Thompson previously held the record, reaching the milestone in 248 games.
Also, if Lillard scores 20 points again tonight, it will mark the second time in his career that he scored that many in the first three games to start a season (he did it in his rookie campaign).
