When Neil Olshey told media to not expect any moves from the Portland Trail Blazers on July 1, he never said anything about June 30.
While Portland did not make any Earth shattering moves, the Blazers definitely did more than what most of the league probably thought they would. Earlier today, the team signed Rodney Hood to an extremely team friendly deal via the taxpayer’s mid-level exception.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has also reported that Portland has agreed to a deal worth the minimum with forward Mario Hezonja. The deal is for two years, but has a player option after this season.
