One bright spot from the Portland Trail Blazers game 1 loss to the Denver Nuggets was the play of Rodney Hood. Hood finished third on the team in scoring with 17 points; that is the most points he has scored in a playoff game this year.
The fact that Hood did it in only 18 minutes makes it that much more impressive. He made 3 out of his 4 three-point attempts, and 5 out of his 10 overall field goal attempts.
On a night where the wings largely struggled, Hood’s performance kept the Blazers in the game.
