Gary Trent Jr. was impressive in his first two games with the Texas Legends in the G-League. He scored 24 points coming off of the bench, then followed up that performance by scoring 33 points the next game. However, something unexpected happened. Trent Jr. did not simply maintain that high level of play; he improved upon it.
Trent Jr. is averaging 32.2 points per game across five games while shooting 49.5% from the field and 49% from three. He has been flat out dominating in the G-League and has clearly been the best player on the court.
