Let the regular season begin.
The Trail Blazers lost their exhibition finale 107-96 to the Golden State Warriors Friday night, when Stephen Curry looked every bit like an MVP and Kevin Durant looked every bit like difference-maker for his new team.
The Blazers started hot, building a 16-point first-quarter lead, but another dominant night from Damian Lillard was not enough to slow the hot-shooting Warriors and their new pair of MVPs.
Curry finished with 35 points, making 12 of 21 field goals, including 8 of 13 three-pointers, and Durant did a little bit of everything, recording 28 points, seven rebounds and six assists as he faced the Blazers for the first time in a Warriors uniform.
