Damian Lillard continues to cement his legacy as one of the greatest Portland Trail Blazers of all time. During the club’s 122-110 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Lillard surpassed LaMarcus Aldridge for second on the franchise’s all-time scoring list.
The milestone came after this three-pointer, which gave Dame 12,565 points:
Lillard finished the game with 24 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Altogether, the superstar guard ended the night with 12, 584 total points. Only Clyde Drexler has amassed more total points in his Portland career (18,040).
If Dame stays with Portland and continues scoring at his current pace, he should pass Drexler in roughly four seasons.
