The Portland Trail Blazers are continuing to build on its Summer League roster and add both young talent and more veteran players.
The Blazers just signed one of the latter, agreeing to a deal with former NBA guard Isaiah Whitehead. Despite putting up big numbers at Seton Hall, he was not drafted in the 2016 NBA Draft. He was fortunate enough to find work via the Brooklyn Nets, who signed to a very popular multi-year non-guaranteed deal. And in 2018, he spent a majority of his time as a two-way candidate for the Detroit Pistons and the Grand Rapids Drive.
